Weekly 4

 This week we have been doing weekly 4 it used to be called weekly 3 but its changed because instead of doing three activity's we do four. We have been doing this last term and this term. The thing I enjoy about this mahi is prototec because its fun and I learn different things on it like square roots and decimals. The part I dislike is getting them wrong because I want to get them all right. The easy part is the easy questions because I get them. The hard part are the hard questions because I cant seem to understand them. The thing I will do is ask for my e-ako account so I can do that. Here is my weekly four from this week.

Vivid vocab

For the past 4 weeks we have been doing vivid vocab. For the first week we had to do the word equality, for week 2 we had diversity, and for last week we had to do nationalty and this week I did ethnicity with my friend and we have done everything .Anyways here is my work. Lineage

For the past 2 weeks we have doing our lineage or as some people say family tree. Family tree or lineage is when you go through all your generation to where ever you want to stop I did from me to my great grandparents. My class and I had got given homework to find all of our generations names. anyway here is my work that I have do from me to Great grandparents, do forget to comment . First week of school

This week was our first week back at school this week has been chill but it was all so hectic because Monday we had a powhiri and we had to do some work. Tuesday we had kapa haka for te rou pou manawa then once again we had to do some more work just saying my favourite pices of work we had done was our rongoa maori . Wednesday we had to practice our extention mihi ,do our handwriting  , te reo maori and also our art ,and more . Thurday I had been asked to help the photolife people to get the class one at a time so they can take there class photos and so some other people in their class can take their single or their sibling photos then once all the photos were all done I went back to class then we had kapa haka and then kapa haka again for Te Rou Pou Manawa O Kawakawa  . Friday, Friday was a chill day we just had to finish some of our work and then we played a few games of tapuwae after lunch. THE END . On Monday we had to do a free writing about a photo or about our holiday and I had chosen my holiday , in the holiday I had to go work for my papa and then we went to Auckland oanyways i'll let you go and read my story, dont forget to levea a comment. NICE BLOGGING WITH YOU :) :) :) :)

In the holidays I went to my papas nursery and helped him for a week then I got paid and went down to Auckland with my friend’s and family and had so much fun. We woke up at 5:30am and left at 6:00 am to head down. Then we stopped at McDonald’s to have breakfast, when we got to Auckland we went to this amazing and fun place called clip n climb. Clip n climb is a place where it is filled with a lot of different rock walls . Most of them had buttons right at the top and I touched about 4 or 5 , it was fun but it was also sore because your hands would get sore. After that fun and amazing place we went to  it was time to go to another place called game over game over is a place that has go kart,laser tag,mini putt putt and also a mini time zone . First my family and friends and I played a game of putt putt then we played some games in the mini time zone and then played laser tag and rid the go karts. After that little bit of a long day we went shopping at the mall when we went to the mall I bought a Starbucks drink and some Krispy Kreme and then went to our hotel.

Rongoa making and packaging making

For the past few weeks my class and I have been making rongoa like Kumarahou wairakau, Kumarahou honey ginger and termiric wairakau , Kumarahou honey and ginger wairakau , Tupakihi panipani and also Kawakawa panipani . It was so so fun and interesting to make them I was in three groups which are  Kawakawa panipani , Tupakihi panipani  and Normal Kumarahou. Well we were making them we had to document it like record our selfs and take photos and we also had to make a packaging for the two panipani's we use. Anyways here are my two packagings I had to do for the Tupakihi and Kawakawa panipani. Oh and sorry I did not menchen this but not the whole class choese to do the Tupakihi panipani so only some of the class did anyways . Matariki poem

This week my class and I have been doing some matariki poems and I have done and a acrositc poem and another poem just because i was bored though but anyways my class and I have been doing matariki poems because there is a challenge at I think all the public libaris and my class, school and I  we have all singed up. Rongoa maori

This week my class a I have been doing rongoa maori and this week our teacher has tought us how to make wairakau which is like a medieien and panipani which is and cream you can use on your body and also helpsnyou with your eczema . Anyways our teacher has told us and showed us the process of how to make it here is a little bit of the process we had to do in a silde and it has what we did that day , what utencils we needed to use and also what rongoa we used / needed. The stolen stars of matariki

Last week Whaea Toni read us a story about the stolen stars of Matariki. In the story there were a little boy a little girl. There names were Te Rerehua and Sam. There was also their grandma. At night they would go look at the stars, but then grandma saw something going on up in the sky . She saw that there were two missing stars from the the sky "huh where is hiwa i te rangi and Pahutakawa" grandma said but then grandma noticed that Patupairehe was the one that stole the sart . Later on when Patupairehe captured the stars he turned them into stone. Grandma and the two kids went to go and save them. When she had rescue them she threw them back up into the sky and grandma and the two kid  went back home and happy that they saved the two stars... :) HAPPY BOLGGING WITH YOU! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Free writing ( In the weekend )

In the weekend we had finally had our first game of netball. I was fun amazing but still hard at the same timemy netball team and I won our game  but I did not know what the score was but I think we smoked them we were all so happy that we won because it was our first game and because it was our first game as a new team . Then after that i had and nice shower and layed in bed and watched netflix. On sunday my family and I went to my cousins house and helped them build their deck but then it started to rain so we stopped but then hahaha it stopped. Rongoa Maori

Last week my our class and I have been working on Rongoa Maori. We have been working in our books and on our chromebooks. We have been doing some work on our buddy's my buddy is Maumahara . Maumahara and I have done a google slide and a popplet for where we put all our information in. Our whole class has got a buddy and has a rongoa topic to work on. Maumahara and I are working on Tupakihi. We made a google drawing for our title and our names. We made them on google drawing because we are making it on a big black paper and a cardboard.. Anyways here is our rongoa maori slide and a bit of our popplet . 

Tuhi mahorahora

In the weekend my family and I went to Auckland and we had so so so much fun to me, on Friday after school we  went home and got changed and grabbed our bags and started to head down once we got there we went to ou hotle and checked in and went to our room. On Saturday we went to a mall and we spent so much money and we also so got so much clothes. After that we went and played mini golf sadly I came second and my little brother won once we finished our very fun game we went the yummy and delicous place / shop called... krispy cream and we bought some for us and some more for our other family up north.Then we finished our day/ night / week and went home. 

Ko wai tenei atua ( guess who in maori )

For the past few week we have been working on our games and me and my partner Maumahara had an idea of do a maori guess bassed on atua . Everyone in our class made a game up. Maumahara and I made a game called ko wai tenei atua. What we did was make a google drawing and then add photos of atua. Then we made another google drawing and put all the rules and what it was based on was on that google drawing. It was so so fun to make.  Maumahara and I made the atua pictures harder so they wont get it and so the game was fun . We also made a kahoot about. Anyways here is the board game and the rules. T.A.C.O

For the past few day we have been doing T.A.C.O which is T for tense A for action C for charter and O for object / place. I was really fun and mostly easy because you just had to follow the struchsher of the T.A.C.O . But the hard bit is when we had to write it maori anyways I think it was still fun and a bit easy really think should try do one for all the tense if you like a little bit of help here is mine in maori maybe you can try translate it into english and see if you get it  maybe if you think you got it you can send it to me in the comments. Photo drip

For the past few weeks of school we have been doing photo dirpis and I have made 3. One thing that was hard was when I had first tryed to do one. One thing that was easy was when you and the photo and add the drip. I would recommend you going on it it is cool and fun to do but I would recommend you do it on a ipad or a phone when you are not at school because it easyer on phone or ipad then it is on chromebook.If you would like the link here it is @https://picsart.com/explore.

 

Octopus Intelligence

Assembly T1

School has started and for the past three weeks it has been fun and interesting. This week we focused mostly on our art and assembly items it's been fun. The hard part was translating English into Maori because I am in a bilingual class and we had to speck in Maori and English during our assembly. The easy part was practicing our items and what we had to say because the year 8s (me) were the mc and because most of the items were items we already knew but anyways yeah that was pretty easy. The thing I need to work on is making sure i prdgec my voice and not mumble. My favorite item is a tik tok compilation we made because it was fun making them and the holiday video made by me . This is just to say

On Monday we we're working on some school kit work it has been cool, fun and interesting. We did this thing called this is just to say. It's kinda like a poem . We had a certain topic and the topic was the worst thing we did when we were young. The easy part was to think about what i was going write about because I had a clear idea . The hard part was to put it into a poem like this. The thing I will do next time is write a bit more and try make it look a bit better anyways,Here is my little poem about when threw a rock at my sister on accident...or was it...

Te Tiriti o Waitangi

For the past few weeks we have been working on the Tiriti o Waitangi and what it means to us. Its been pretty easy but fun at the same time. The hard part was thinking of what to write and what Waitangi meant. Waitangi means so much to me.The easy part was the writing about do I tatai (relate ) to any of the rangatitra   it was pretty easy like I said before.
